Definitive Racing is proud to be associated with BRM Racing for over 9 years. From the humble beginning back in Valence in 1999 at the European Championship where Steve Pettaras made his first contact the boutique chassis manufacturer till now the passion to represent a quality manufacturer still lives on.

Even though a lot have come and gone, one thing stands out.

We believe in the product.

Many a time we have been offered exclusive importers of well known BRANDS but have turned them all down. BRM Racing's commitment is second to none with regular visits to our shores and vice versa. With 2009 rehomoligating the ever successful BB1 and DK8 and now the GPM66 BRM Racing are even more commited to the Australian and New Zealand kart market.

Enjoy this website.
Please feel free to email or ring me with any questions you might have. I will enjoy the conversation.

Regards

Steve Pettaras

BRM / Definitive Racing driver Justin Ruggier wins Shifter/Open class at Wollongong!

Long time Definitive Racing driver Justin Ruggier put in a great showing at the weekend in Wollongong. Eager to get in as much seat time as possible ahead of the CIK series next year, Justin tore up the Wollongong track in his immaculately presented BRM Racing GPM-66/TM K9C kart.

Justin dominated qualifying, setting a pole time 6 tenths quicker than his nearest rival. He then took a clean sweep of the heats, pre-final & final - with the only hiccup being a bad start in the pre-final meaning he had to come through the field.

Both Justin & the team are very happy with this result are looking forward to plenty more running in the KZ2 kart ahead of next year's 4-round CIK series.

BRM / Definitive Racing driver Grant Dyga wins Leopard Light at Oran Park Farewell meeting!

Young Grant Dyga bid farewell to the Oran Park kart track in the best way possible - winning the Leopard Light class overall & putting in a dominant performance on Saturday & Sunday, winning every heat.

Oran Park was the very first track Grant (& many many others!) raced at when he began his karting career in Rookies. It was a special meeting, held over 3 days - with each day being run on a different track configuration. The Horseshoe Track was run on Friday, The Long Track on Saturday & the Super Track on Sunday.

The meeting was an emotional one for all involved, Grant included - He was also given a framed photo - from his Junior karting days which was hanging in the track clubhouse ever since it was taken - at the podium presentations by the Sydney Kart Racing Club.

Congratulations to Grant on his dominant performance at Oran Park & best of luck for the last round of the NSW Premier State Cup held at Newcastle the following weekend!

BRM / Definitive Racing driver Daniel Borton finishes 2nd at Horsepower Heaven!

The BRM / Definitive Racing team was proudly present on the KZ2 podium at Horsepower Heaven, with 18-year old Scottish driver Daniel Borton finishing in a strong second place behind New Zealand's reigning KZ2 champion & runaway winner, Ryan Grant.

Justin Ruggier was desperately unlucky to strike Carburetor problems in the Pre-Final which couldn't be rectified before the Final. Nevertheless both drivers showed great pace throughout the weekend & were never far from the front of the field.

Check the news section for a daily round-up of all the on-track action!
